It is hard to believe that in five short months I have the opportunity to go back to Ghana for the 3rd annual Art and Music Camp at the Village of Hope! I am trying my best to save up enough money to go back and see those amazing children that I miss so much. I received five letters from the children a few weeks ago that really brightened my day! It has been hard for me working at the Family and Children's Center with teenage boys who have emotional and behavioral problems. I miss working with young children and part of my heart is still in Africa with those Ghanaian orphans. God is good...He knows my heart, and I know He will provide again like He did last summer. Right now God has been teaching me to wait on Him and His perfect timing.Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. ~Psalm 27:14
As much as I want to go back to Africa and care for the orphan children in Ghana, God has me where I'm at right now for a reason. I might not know the reason why, but I can trust the One who holds my future.
