Some of the Beautiful Faces of Ghana

Cornelius is wearing his cool shades!
Church on Sunday morning consists of setting up all our plastic chairs and a wooden bench outside for our 8:30 am worship service.  All the children, houseparents, and I gather together to lift our praises to the heavens.  The children play the drums, sing, clap, and dance in worship to their Creator God!  Some of the songs they sing are in their language Twi (pronounced tree) while other songs are sung in English, Ghana’s official language.  Mr. Morgan the house dad has given a message the past 2 weeks while Garret Nichols, pastor and in country coordinator for Touch A Life, has been in the U.S. recovering from malaria.  He lives here at the TAL Care Center with his wife, Kelly, and son, Seth who is 13 years old.  (They adopted Seth when he was 5 years old.)  It is such a joy gathering together with my Ghanaian brothers and sisters in Christ in worship beneath the beautiful blue sky in the bush of Africa!  These are some of the beautiful faces I get to see everyday!
